By registering and using My Med Assistant, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. We may update these terms from time to time; continued use of the service after changes means you accept the new terms.
2. Service Description
My Med Assistant is an AI-powered tool that helps users understand medical documents such as lab results, blood tests, and discharge summaries. The service provides plain-language explanations of medical data, tracks health indicators over time, and sends medication reminders.
3. Medical Disclaimer — Please Read Carefully
My Med Assistant is not a medical service and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. All information provided by the AI assistant is for educational and informational purposes only. The AI may make errors and does not have access to your complete medical history.
Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making any medical decisions. If you experience any symptoms, health concerns, or emergencies, contact your doctor or emergency services immediately. Use of this service does not create a doctor-patient relationship.
4. Account Requirements
- You must be at least 13 years old to use the service.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
- You must provide accurate and truthful information when registering.
- One email address may be associated with only one account.
5. Subscriptions and Payments
- The Free plan is provided at no cost with limited functionality.
- Paid subscriptions are billed monthly in advance.
- You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of the paid period.
- We do not offer refunds for the current billing period unless required by applicable law.
- Gift codes are one-time use, non-transferable, and cannot be exchanged for cash.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Upload documents belonging to others without their explicit consent.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the service.
- Create multiple accounts to circumvent Free plan limits.
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
7. Intellectual Property
All content you upload remains your property. By uploading documents, you grant us a limited license to process them for the purpose of providing the service. The service itself, its code, design, and AI models are our intellectual property and may not be copied or reproduced.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, My Med Assistant shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including any medical decisions made based on AI-generated content. The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
9. Service Availability
We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the service with reasonable notice.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and applicable national law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation, or if necessary, through the courts of competent jurisdiction.
